How can you hang a curtain rod using command strips?

The Command hook should be placed against the wall. Next, trace the top, bottom and sides with a pencil. All hooks should be placed between 4 and 6 inches (10-15 cm) above the frame. To ensure that the weight is centrally loaded, keep 2 hooks between 3 and 6 inches (7.6 and 15.2 cm) from the frame.

How do you hang curtains without drilling?

Use one of your 3M Command Hooks to remove the paper backing from the adhesive strips. Line the hook up against the wall using the pencil marking as a guide. You should press it down on the surface for 30 seconds. After that, let it rest for at most half an hour. Do the same with the other side.

Also, command strips can hold curtain rods up. You can use them to decorate or block out light. Many landlords won't permit renters to drill holes in walls. This is required for installing curtain hooks. It is possible to still install curtain rods using Command hooks.

This is how to hang a curtain rod sideways.

Standard or decorative stationary rod lengths should not exceed one-third the width of the window. They can be installed anywhere between two inches above the top edge of the window frame and two inches below it. The ceiling will appear higher if they are hung at the upper end of the range.

What weight can stripes hold?

Large strips can hold up to 16 lbs. and can be used for anything from 24-inch to 36 inch objects. The smaller hanging strips can hold up to 4 pounds.
