The superolateral portion (orbicularis Oculi) of the muscle that controls the lateral brow is known as the lateral brow depression. It lies below the lateral third of the eyebrow. Medial brow depressors include the corrugator supercilii and depressor supercilii muscles as well as the medial portion the orbicularis Oculi muscle.
