First, Los Angeles International Airport banned Lyft, Uber, and taxis from curbside pickup on Oct. 29 and instructed them (and their travelling customers) to use LAXit, a new pickup location east of Terminal 1 at World Way, Sky Way. Construction will continue through the opening of the automated people-mover at the airport in 2023.

You can board one of the LAX-it buses that will take you to the pick up lot if you have arrived at LAX. They're well-marked and will pick up passengers at the curb on each terminal's arrival level.
