Can you grow climbing roses from cuttings?

After the blooms have drained, you can propagate climbing roses by cutting a stem in autumn. The hole will serve to plant climbing rose cuttings and should be approximately 3 inches in depth. Sharp pruners are needed to remove a healthy climbing rose bush's 6- to 8-inch stem.
