A: You are allowed to apply any sheen on another so long as you have removed all previous coatings. Pre-finished floors can be difficult to clean because of the bevel. These must be done manually.
What should I choose between gloss and satin polyurethane? Polyurethane can be applied to floors to give them an extremely durable topcoat. Satin urethanes are more smoothed to remove luster, which results in less sheen.
