What is Gold OA?
An author publishing their article in an open access journal online is gold open access. Green open access, on the other hand, is when an author publishes his article in any journal, and then self-archives it in an institutional or specialist online archive, known as a repository or on a website.
What is the gold open access publication fee? Everybody can read all gold open access articles. We are able to offer open access services due to the article publishing cost (APC), which authors, funding bodies, and institutions pay. This covers all expenses related to the publication process. Our APCs are between $500 and $5500 USD.
This being said, how does open access publishing actually work?
Open access (OA), or making research publications available for free, means that anyone can read and use the research. Open Access is more than just making research freely available. It also allows others to re-use the research. Open access to research data and books is becoming more common.
