What is the difference in flaxseed oil and flaxseed oils?

Flaxseed oil (Linum usitatissimum), and flaxseed oil (which comes from flaxseed) are rich in the essential fatty acids alpha-linolenic, a healthy omega-3 fatty. Flaxseed has high levels of soluble fiber and lignans which are phytoestrogens. These phytoestrogens are not present in flaxseed oil.



Flaxseed oil is just as good as flaxseeds.

What is better flaxseed oil or fish oil? Flaxseed oil has a higher HDL level than fish oil. This is because the ALA in flaxseed oils helps lower LDL cholesterol.
