What is a Traeger grill lamp?

Turn the knob on the control panel to Smoke, then turn the power switch ON. This will turn on the fan motor, and the auger will start feeding pellets into your firebox. The grill will start smoking after about four minutes. Once you can see some white smoke, close the lid and adjust the knob to your desired temperature.

Afterwards, you might also wonder, "How does Traeger grill operate?"

The pellet grill uses an auger to transport wood pellets from their hopper to the firepot within the grill . A hot rod ignites the pellets and starts a fire. The fan ignites the flames and creates convection heat (just like an oven). This allows you to evenly cook your food in the charcoal.

The next question is: Does a Traeger pellet grill require electricity? There is no electricity near the grilling area. Traeger pellet grills need electrical power to work, not a propane gas grill which runs off a propane tank. A small battery powers the spark that lights the propane.

Know also, how long does Traeger take to ignite?

You will see whitish-gray smoke rising from the Grill as the Pellets ignite in approximately 2 minutes. Once the Pellets are ignited, close your Door and adjust the Temperature/Dial accordingly.

My Traeger is not smoking.

Sometimes, too much smoke can be produced by the Traeger. The grill should be allowed to cool before it is turned to smoke. If this happens, the pellets left in the burnt pot can cause the air to blow through the auger and produce a lot more smoke.
