How many grow lights can you fit in a 10x10 area?

The rule of thumb is to use 25-50 watts per square foot. If you have 100 sqf you will need between 2500-5000 watts. You can check out the led forums here. They are great for heat issues.

You may then wonder, "How many plants can I fit in a 10x10 grow shelter?"

A 10x10 room is enough to accommodate about 20 plants. Are 2x1000w enough to light 30-40 plants? Or 3 lights?

What area can a 1000-watt grow light cover, other than the one above? 7x7 feet

You might also ask: How many watts are needed for 10 plants?

Based on 1.0 sq. ft/plant, recommended wattage

# of Plants Square Feet Wattage from Wall
4 4 120 to 140 watts
6 6 180 to 200 watts
8 8 From 240 to 300 Watts
10 10 300 to 340 Watts

What amount of light do I require for my grow space?

By Wattage For a plant that requires a lot of light, such as cannabis, you need 30 to 70 watts for each square foot. I recommend a minimum of 50 Watts per square foot. You can increase that to 65 watts per sq foot if budget and heat are not an issue.
