How can I see previous sprints in Jira

Click Reports > Sprint Report and choose sprint in the dropdown menu.

You might also wonder, "How do I view sprints from Jira?"

To see the list of open Sprints as well as the issues in Sprints, you can open the board and access the Backlog view. The Active Sprints view merges all issues into one Sprint so you will need to use the Backlog view.

Can you also reopen a Jira-closed sprint? Click Reports to reopen a sprint, then click Sprint Report. Select the sprint you are interested in from the Sprint drop-down. Click Reopen Sprint. You will see the Reopen Sprint dialog. This dialog will show you what you can expect from the sprint when it is reopened.

How do I view completed tasks in Jira then?

You can display Done Issues in your Backlog view by editing the filter query of this board. This is what you already did. You can remove the parameter that will be removing done issues from your board (Resolution = unresolved status!= done). It should then appear on the board like any other issue.

How can I create a Jira sprint?

Start A Sprint:

  1. Click on the down-arrow of the agile link to see the preferred board.
  2. Click here to access the backlog board.
  3. Select the sprint you want to work on and plan a sprint by dropping the sprint footer below any issues or by dragging these issues here.
  4. Select the sprint you wish to start and click Start Sprint.
