Are the Parthenon sculptures still available?

Elgin Marbles, collection containing ancient Greek sculptures and architectural details at the British Museum in London. They are now known as the Parthenon-Sculptures.

Also, why was the Elgin Marbles removed from Greece? The first sculpture taken from the Elgin Marbles was allowed to leave the UK since Lord Elgin arrived in Greece in the early 1800s. He had them removed from the Parthenon in order to ship it to Britain. Greek campaigners claim that the Turks were an invasion force acting against the will and will of the people they invaded.

Who is the owner of the Parthenon

They were ruled by the Ottomans in Greece 200 years ago when Lord Elgin bought them. They are now accessible at no cost and have had a significant influence on many generations of scholars and artists.
