What is a pool Polaris, you ask?

Polaris Pressure Pool Cleaners. Polaris has been the leader in the industry for almost 40 years. Polaris offers outstanding cleaning performance with a wide range of pressure pool cleaners that can be used for any pool design.

How does a pool Polaris function?

These cleaners have a body that is connected to a hose to connect to the water return jet. The floating cleaner is driven by water pressure around your pool. Behind the cleaner, a sweep hose moves underwater to blast the pool's floor and walls with water jets that loosen any debris.

The same goes for my Polaris pool cleaner. Why does it go in circles? Sometimes the cleaner gets stuck near the steps, other times it moves in circles. This happens most often when pool cleaners remain in the pool 24 hours a day. The plastic in the hose curls slightly when the water cools off or gets colder.

This begs the question: How long can Polaris pool cleaners last for?

A robot pool cleaner should last 3 to 5 years, and possibly up to 8 years. No parts can be replaced. A robotic pool cleaner requires maintenance, particularly to remove debris. However, it is not expensive for one year. You can simply replace the pool cleaner when it is finished.

Is it a good idea to leave Polaris in the pool?

Most industry have a filter bowl near the Polaris return line. It is fine to leave the Polaris in the pool if it is not being used.
