How many questions are on the NP exam?

Each examination has 150 questions. The 135 questions scored by candidates determine a candidate's score. 15 questions are the pretest.

Is the NP exam also difficult?

Yes. Yes. Both the examinations for becoming a Certified Nursing Practitioner ( and NP), are extremely difficult. The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), exam passed rate was 81.4% in 2015 and the American Nurse Credentialing Center NP certification exam had a 75% average passing ratio.

What test is required for a nurse practitioner? A FNP certification exam is an entry-level competency examination that tests clinical skills in family/individual care across all stages of life (prenatal, infant, childhood, adult, frail elderly primary care, and elderly).

It is also important to understand what a passing score is on the Aanp exam.

500
